Our Story
What started as Madam Curry has grown into Coco n Maria – a new name, but the same commitment to genuine, handmade cooking. The idea has always stayed simple: make roti the way it’s meant to be made, fresh, by hand, with no shortcuts, and share it with anyone who wants a real taste of home.
That idea has taken us further than a single shopfront. Today, Coco n Maria isn’t just a place people walk into for a quick bite – it’s a working kitchen supplying fresh roti to restaurants, cafes and grocery stores right across Melbourne.
Who We Are Today
Coco n Maria is a Melbourne-based manufacturer and wholesale supplier of fresh roti, working out of our kitchen in Sunshine North. What began as a neighbourhood takeaway has grown into a trusted supply partner for restaurants, cafes and grocery stores that need reliable, handmade roti they can build a menu around.
We still serve walk-in customers every day – but a growing part of what we do now is supplying other food businesses, in the quantities they actually need, on a schedule they can count on.
Who We Serve
We’re proud to supply roti to some of Melbourne’s best-loved restaurants and cafes, including Oxyco, AD House, Laksa Lab, Cookies, Juni, Magic Mountain Saloon, Mamma Mia and Little Thai Princess – among many others.
Our roti finds its way into kitchens across Malaysian, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Sri Lankan and African cuisine, because good roti belongs on more than one kind of table. Everyone is welcome at Coco n Maria, regardless of culture, creed, race or religion – that’s not a slogan, it’s how we’ve built this business.
We also supply local grocery stores looking to stock fresh roti on their shelves, and prepare freshly made takeaway meals for anyone who’d rather eat in than cook.
